Girls Pre-teen Program (9-12 years old)

Join us for a fun filled afternoon once a week. Weekly events include movie nights and monthly out-trips.

A program for teens interested in fun activities.  A great place to make friends.  Weekly events include laser tag/tye-dye/candle making/cooking and monthly out-trips.

Friday 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Licensed Out of School Care (5-10 years old)

A program for students at Lord Roberts Elementary or Annex. Our experienced staff will pick your child up from school and organize safe and fun activities. Out trips included. Every day is a new adventure!

Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Homework Club (Grade 4-12)

A program for students at Lord Roberts Main, Elsie Roy Elementary and King George High School in partnership with the  King George Community Schools Team.

Monday's and Wednesday's: 3:05 PM - 4:30 PM (L.R. & E.R.)

Tuesday's and Thursday's: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (K.G.)

Youth S.E.A.R.Ch.

Gordon House Youth S.E.A.R.Ch. is an employment resource for young adults, between the ages of 15 and 30, who are unemployed, eligible to work in Canada and seeking to enter today's labour market.

We offer the Skills Link program, a group-based employability skills/work experience funded by Service Canada and the CAP program funded by the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. We also offer a Case Coordination Service, funded through the Vancouver Agreement, for young people who have been on Income Assistance for over 2 years and require individual, long-term support to secure employment.

The program includes:

  • Resume/Cover letter design
  • Interview training
  • Job placement and financial support
  • One-to-one employment counselling
  • Certificates in WHMIS, FirstAid/CPR and other selected services. 

No cost services include:

  • Internet, fax, and printer,
  • Laundry facilities, and kitchen
  • Free clothing vouchers to Donna's Attic Thrift Store.
