Yearly Special Events

NEWS and EVENTS in 2010

Special Events are held frequently in the house. They provide a means for Gordon House to reach out to recent arrivals in the West End, and as a way of promoting a sense of community. 

Such events include yearly West End Cultural Celebration aka Block Party in August, Thanksgiving Lunch and Halloween party in October, Christmas party, and Christmas dinner in December.

Family Camp Weekend - Gather the whole family and join other Gordon House families at this annual weekend at Sasamat Lake. Enjoy swimming, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, arts & crafts, and campfires.  All at the beautiful outdoor setting of the Sasamat Outdoor Centre!

Gordon House will once again be offering its highly popular Spring Day Camp.

Summer Day Camp (5 -11 years old)

Join us as we head on a different trip each day of the week!  You will enjoy waterslides, beaches, museums and other Lower Mainland attractions.  

West End Cultural Celebration aka Block Party

Come and join your neighbours for a fun afternoon that includes a hot dog BBQ, children's carnival, live music & entertainment, community info tables, seniors' corner, multicultural arts and crafts, and much more!

INCOME TAX PROGRAM
By appointment only.
Trained Revenue Canada Volunteers will assist seniors and low income families. Please bring all necessary documentation.
